Larry gets lost in seattle

November 8, 2012

The other day there was a package by the door addressed to Walker and Jessica. Inside was this book, “Larry Gets Lost in Seattle” by John Skewes. I knew that neither Walker or I had ordered this book and there was no message inside to clue us in. Hmmm. I sent Walker a text at work but he didn’t respond and the mystery continued.

Later that same day I checked the mail and there was a card from my sweet friend Katherine and the answer to the mystery. She had sent the book as a house warming gift and because she thought it was pretty cute (which it is). Good thing they both arrived on the same day or I would have been so confused!

Anyhow the book is a bit of a tour of Seattle through the eyes of a dog that gets lost from his friend. It highlights a lot of must see places in the city, a few of which I’ve yet to check out. It seems as if John Skewes has a few other books similar to this one for other cities. Maybe a cute gift idea for someone on your list?

Ours will be proudly displayed on our coffee table. Thank you Katherine!

Yay! This looked like the cutest book ever when I saw it on Amazon, so I couldn’t resist. Now if/when I visit, I’ll be expecting you to take me to the same places Larry visited in his book! :)

It is the cutest and we will visit those places! There are quite a few I haven’t been to yet. I think we’re getting the Texas one for Walker’s nephews and I think they will love it!
