It’s nice having so many fun things to do but when I get back that means a whole lot of orders. I suppose in this case it also means feeling just a tad under the weather. So I’ve been resting a little bit, drinking lots of water, and tea. I may be starting to feel better. At least better enough to eat Moomers ice cream one more time before leaving Michigan. Yum! The ice cream was out of town at a Maple farm so the setting was just incredible and the maple leaves are just beginning to turn.

Next week I’ll be sharing a bit more of what I’ve been up to these last couple of weeks with my actual camera photos. Also on Monday I’ll be sharing another story! A few years ago my mother and I discovered Moomers. I can say with all honesty it’s the best ice cream I have had to date. We originally discovered it in a little shop in one of the town near where we camp. They since stopped carrying that brand so the last couple of years we’ve had to go straight to the source (not a bad thing and the ice cream shop overlooks the farm where the dairy cows live). This year though it seems almost every place we went had Moomers ice cream and more often than not we just couldn’t resist. Our favorite flavor is coconut almond delight. I could eat it every day and never get sick of it. There are chopped almonds, tiny chocolate chips, and coconut flakes. mmmm. We probably had Moomers about 4 or 5 times over the span of our camping trip and I don’t regret a single scoop! If you are ever on the west side of Michigan near Traverse City get some! You’ll thank me!
